United Development Company QSC (UDC) is one of the leading private sector companies in the State of Qatar, and has been listed on the Qatar Exchange since June 2003.

The company was established in 1999 to enable private sector investors to participate in the economic development of Qatar and the Gulf Region, and to provide optimum returns for partners, investors and shareholders alike. UDC currently has an authorized share capital of QR 3.372 billion, total assets of QR 18.764 billion at 31 December 2013 and a market capitalization of QR 7.625 billion.

Deploying a strategy of forming joint ventures and partnerships, UDC identifies and invests in long-term projects in sectors including infrastructure, energy-intensive industries, hydrocarbon downstream manufacturing, real estate, maritime and environment-related businesses, urban development and utilities, hospitality, retail and fashion, information technology, media and communications, insurance, security and other services.
