The New York Times Magazine exhibits “T Art” at The Pearl - Qatar
Doha, Qatar – 27 February, 2010: T Qatar: The New York Times Style Magazine in association with The Pearl-Qatar conducted an exhibition of ‘T Art’ at Porto Arabia. The exhibits will be on display till the 28 February and can be viewed at the internal mall arcades of Parcel 5 – Porto Arabia, between 10AM and 9 PM. .

T Art are exclusive creations modelled around the T logo. Renowned artists and designers use the mediums of their respective crafts to create the piece. Japanese artist Yuichi Higashionna, for example, uses fluorescent lights to typify his country’s obsession with it.

Pop art Legend James Rosenquist splices together headlines from The New York Times.

Other artists include Jeff Koons, Tom Hingston, Oscar de la Renta and James Wojcik.

T Qatar is the latest offering from Oryx Advertising Co, publishers of Qatar Today, Qatar Al Yom, Woman Today, GLAM and Progress-Qatar.
